Pallets of Pure Beeswax Available!! -- June 2025
We started beekeeping with a couple of hives 45 years ago, and making some honey and hanging out with bees were pretty much the only two goals. That is why our company name is "Ebert Honey LLC." Over time, we gradually started diversifying our activity, and providing bulk beeswax to substantial users has become a significant aspect of our niche life in the bee world.
The beeswax we handle is 100% natural and contains no additives. The majority of our customers are looking for yellow wax, and that is typically made available in the aftermath of the honey harvest. Beekeepers typically need to cut off a thin layer of wax (cappings) from honeycombs in order to spin out the honey in their extractors, and those cappings are eventually melted down into blocks like the ones that you see here.
We are often asked about the origin of the wax we sell. Our bees make some of the wax, but we buy most of our supply from other large-scale midwestern beekeepers. We have never imported wax from outside the United States. Bees make very little wax compared to honey during any given crop year, so annually a lot of beekeepers end up with anywhere from a few hundred to several thousand pounds of wax but lack a steady outlet for it. We essentially pool that wax and make it available for buyers in a visible way that allows buyers to secure the wax they need. The uses are pretty endless--candle making, cosmetics, balms, polishes, lubrication, metal treatments, die casting, sewing, woodworking, food wraps, and soap making are all common purposes that our customers have in mind when they make a purchase.
We sell beeswax in many sized blocks in both filtered and unfiltered forms, so we can meet the needs of most buyers. Right now we have many pallets of nice yellow wax, and we are always willing to discuss the best price we can offer for the quantity a customer seeks. Either message us from this website or call 319 259 9377 to discuss bulk purchasing possibilities. Beeswax is truly intriguing in its versatility!
